'Tamago' is the japanese word for egg and without a doubt this table owes its name to its shape. This centre piece is almost in a state of zen like a pebble sitting on three slender stilts, only in this case, they are hand tapered and turned legs made in wood. The oblong top has been carefully hand routed and the underside tapered to offer softer edges. In a room full of squares, none can lose sight of the Tamago.
